מדיניות זו חלה על אפליקציית תשחץ, המופעלת על ידי בן באשא ("אנחנו"). יצירת קשר: tashchetz@benbasha.com.
בקצרה: ההתקדמות, הרצף וההגדרות שלכם נשמרים על המכשיר. אפשר לשחק את התשחץ היומי בלי חשבון. כדי לשחק בלוחות מובילים, בקרבות מול חברים ולפרסם תשחצים, נכנסים עם Sign in with Apple. השרת שלנו לעולם לא מקבל מאפל את השם או הדוא"ל שלכם, אלא רק מזהה אנונימי. האפליקציה מציגה פרסומות של Google AdMob, ובאייפון מבקשת את הרשאת "שקיפות במעקב" לפני שהיא טוענת פרסומת. אין באפליקציה כלי אנליטיקה או דיווח קריסות של צד שלישי. אפשר למחוק את החשבון מתוך האפליקציה בכל רגע.
מה נשמר על המכשיר
האפליקציה שומרת את הנתונים הבאים מקומית על המכשיר, גם בלי חשבון:
- התקדמות בתשחצים, מצב לוח באמצע פתרון, ומספר המילים שפתרתם
- הרצף היומי, התאריכים ששיחקתם בהם, והקפאות רצף
- מטבעות, הגדרות, שפת ממשק וסטטוס תשחץ פלוס
- חבילות תשחצים שהורדתם למצב טיולים, ותור פעולות שממתינות לסנכרון
מזהה מכשיר אקראי ואסימון ההתחברות נשמרים במאגר המאובטח של iOS (Keychain). מזהה המכשיר הוא מחרוזת אקראית, אינו נגזר מהחומרה ואינו כולל פרטים מזהים. מחיקת האפליקציה מוחקת את כל המידע השמור על המכשיר.
חשבון והתחברות (Sign in with Apple)
אפשר לשחק את התשחץ היומי ולפתור תשחצים בלי חשבון. כדי להשתמש בלוחות מובילים, בקרבות אחד על אחד, בתגובות ובפרסום תשחצים, נכנסים עם Sign in with Apple.
- כשאתם מתחברים, האפליקציה שולחת לשרת המשחק שלנו את אסימון הזהות (identity token) של אפל בלבד. אנחנו משתמשים בו כדי לקבל מאפל מזהה אנונימי יציב למשתמש. אנחנו לא מקבלים ולא שומרים את השם או כתובת הדוא"ל שלכם מאפל.
- בהקמת החשבון תבחרו כינוי (nickname) ותמונת פרופיל (avatar). אלה נשמרים אצלנו ומשמשים לזהותכם במשחק.
- בתמורה השרת מחזיר אסימון הפעלה (session token) שנשמר במאגר המאובטח של המכשיר.
מה השרת שלנו שומר
שרת המשחק (תשחץ-סרבר) הוא שלנו (צד ראשון), ולא ספק אנליטיקה. הוא שומר:
- חשבון וזהות: מזהה שחקן, כינוי ותמונת פרופיל, ואסימון ההפעלה.
- התקדמות משחק: סיכום התקדמות שמשויך למזהה המכשיר האקראי (מטבעות, תאריכים ששיחקתם, סטטיסטיקות לכל תשחץ, מילים שפתרתם). התקדמות בלי חשבון נשמרת לפי מזהה המכשיר בלבד, בלי פרטים מזהים.
- ארנק ומטבעות: יתרת מטבעות ויומן תנועות, מתנה יומית, משימות וסטטוס תשחץ פלוס. המטבעות מנוהלים בשרת.
- תוצאות וקרבות: תוצאות משחק, קרבות אחד על אחד וקבוצתיים, רצפי ניצחון ונתוני נוכחות בזמן אמת (דרך חיבור WebSocket).
- לוחות מובילים: דירוגים יומיים, שבועיים ושל יוצרים.
- תוכן קהילה: תשחצים שבניתם ופרסמתם, תגובות (reactions) ודיווחים על תשחץ או על שחקן.
מה גלוי לשחקנים אחרים
כשאתם משחקים בקרבות, בלוחות המובילים, או מפרסמים תשחץ, הכינוי ותמונת הפרופיל שלכם גלויים לשחקנים אחרים (למשל ברשימת המתחרים, לצד הדירוג שלכם, ולצד תשחץ שפרסמתם). שום פרט אחר על החשבון אינו נחשף לשחקנים אחרים.
פרסומות (Google AdMob)
האפליקציה מציגה פרסומות באמצעות Google AdMob: באנרים, פרסומת מעבר אחת אחרי כל כמה תשחצים שתשלימו (לעולם לא באמצע פתרון), וסרטוני תגמול אופציונליים שמזכים אתכם במטבעות. לצורך הגשת פרסומות ומדידתן, Google עשויה לעבד:
- מזהה הפרסום של המכשיר (IDFA באייפון)
- כתובת IP (שממנה נגזר מיקום משוער)
- נתוני מכשיר בסיסיים ונתוני אינטראקציה עם פרסומות (צפיות, הקשות)
באייפון, לפני שהאפליקציה טוענת פרסומת כלשהי, היא מבקשת הרשאה דרך חלון "שקיפות במעקב" (App Tracking Transparency) של אפל. אם תאשרו, הפרסומות עשויות להיות מותאמות אישית באמצעות מזהה הפרסום (IDFA). אם תסרבו, הפרסומות מוגשות בלי שימוש במזהה הפרסום לצורך מעקב. אפשר לשנות את הבחירה בכל רגע ב: הגדרות ← פרטיות ואבטחה ← מעקב. אופן השימוש של Google בנתונים מתואר בכתובת policies.google.com/privacy ו-policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
תשחץ פלוס מסיר את הפרסומות. למנויים פעילים האפליקציה לא טוענת ולא מציגה פרסומות.
רכישות בתוך האפליקציה
האפליקציה מציעה חבילות מטבעות (מוצרים מתכלים) ומנוי תשחץ פלוס (חודשי או שנתי, עם שבוע ניסיון חינם). החיוב מתבצע כולו על ידי ה-App Store של אפל; פרטי התשלום שלכם לעולם לא מגיעים לאפליקציה. כדי לזכות אתכם בנרכש, האפליקציה שולחת לשרת שלנו את פרטי האישור של אפל (מזהה מוצר, מזהה עסקה ואסימון חתום) לאימות בכתובת POST /api/iap/validate. השרת מאמת את חתימת אפל, מזכה מטבעות דרך היומן (פעם אחת לכל מזהה עסקה) ו/או מפעיל את הרשאת תשחץ פלוס. על העסקה חלה מדיניות הפרטיות של אפל.
מחיקת חשבון ונתונים
אפשר למחוק את החשבון מתוך האפליקציה בכל רגע (במסך החשבון). הפעולה מוחקת מהשרת את הפרופיל, ההתקדמות, המטבעות והתוצאות שלכם. תשחצים שכבר פרסמתם עשויים להישאר זמינים לקהילה ללא ייחוס אליכם. נתונים השמורים על המכשיר נמחקים כשמסירים את האפליקציה. לבקשות נוספות בנוגע לנתונים: tashchetz@benbasha.com.
מה האפליקציה לא עושה
- אין באפליקציה כלי אנליטיקה או דיווח קריסות של צד שלישי (אין Sentry, Firebase, Mixpanel וכדומה).
- איננו מקבלים מאפל את השם או הדוא"ל שלכם, ואיננו מבקשים אותם.
- איננו מוכרים את הנתונים האישיים שלכם.
- הפניות הרשת של האפליקציה הן: שרת המשחק שלנו, רכיב הפרסומות של Google, מערכת החיוב של ה-App Store, וקישורים שאתם בוחרים לפתוח.
ילדים
תשחץ הוא משחק מילים, ללא תוכן המכוון לילדים, בדירוג גיל 4+. כשהמשתמש אינו מאשר מעקב (ATT), הפרסומות אינן מותאמות אישית באמצעות מזהה הפרסום.
שינויים
אם המדיניות תשתנה, הגרסה המעודכנת תפורסם בכתובת tashchetz.benbasha.com/privacy עם תאריך תוקף חדש.

Privacy Policy
תשחץ (Daily Hebrew Crossword) · Effective June 22, 2026
This policy covers the תשחץ (Daily Hebrew Crossword) mobile app, operated by Ben Basha ("we"). Contact: tashchetz@benbasha.com.
The short version: your progress, streak, and settings are stored on your device. You can play the daily crossword with no account. To use leaderboards, matches against friends, and to publish your own puzzles, you sign in with Sign in with Apple. Our server never receives your name or email from Apple, only an anonymous identifier. The app shows Google AdMob ads, and on iOS it asks for Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission before loading any ad. There is no third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDK in the app. You can delete your account from inside the app at any time.
What the app stores on your device
The app stores the following locally on your device, even without an account:
- Puzzle progress, the in-progress board state, and how many words you have solved
- Your daily streak, the dates you played, and streak freezes
- Coins, settings, UI language, and Tashchetz Plus status
- Puzzle packs you downloaded for travel mode, and a queue of actions waiting to sync
A random device identifier and your session token are kept in the iOS secure store (Keychain). The device identifier is a random string, is not derived from hardware, and contains no identifying details. Deleting the app removes all on-device data.
Account and sign-in (Sign in with Apple)
You can play the daily crossword and solve puzzles without an account. To use leaderboards, one-on-one matches, reactions, and publishing, you sign in with Sign in with Apple.
- When you sign in, the app sends only Apple's identity token to our game server. We use it to obtain a stable anonymous user identifier from Apple. We do not receive or store your name or email from Apple.
- When you set up the account you choose a nickname and an avatar. These are stored by us and identify you in the game.
- In return, the server issues a session token, kept in the device's secure store.
What our server stores
Our game server ("tashchetz-server") is first-party, not an analytics vendor. It stores:
- Account and identity: player id, nickname and avatar, and the session token.
- Game progress: a progress summary keyed to the random device identifier (coins, dates played, per-puzzle stats, words solved). Progress without an account is keyed only by the device identifier, with no identifying details.
- Wallet and coins: coin balance and a transaction ledger, daily gift, missions, and Tashchetz Plus status. Coins are server-managed.
- Results and matches: game results, one-on-one and group matches, win streaks, and real-time presence (over a WebSocket connection).
- Leaderboards: daily, weekly, and creator rankings.
- Community content: puzzles you build and publish, reactions, and reports about a puzzle or a player.
What is visible to other players
When you play matches, appear on leaderboards, or publish a puzzle, your nickname and avatar are visible to other players (for example in the list of competitors, next to your rank, and next to a puzzle you published). No other account detail is exposed to other players.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app shows ads through Google AdMob: banners, one interstitial after every few puzzles you complete (never in the middle of solving), and optional rewarded videos that grant coins. To serve and measure ads, Google may process:
- A device advertising identifier (Apple IDFA)
- IP address (which implies an approximate location)
- Basic device information and ad-interaction data (views, taps)
On iOS, before the app loads any ad, it asks for permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you allow tracking, ads may be personalized using your advertising identifier (IDFA). If you decline, ads are served without using the advertising identifier for tracking. You can change this anytime in iOS Settings, Privacy and Security, Tracking. How Google uses this data is described at policies.google.com/privacy and policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Tashchetz Plus removes the ads. For active subscribers the app does not load or show ads.
In-app purchases
The app offers coin packs (consumable products) and a Tashchetz Plus subscription (monthly or yearly, with a one-week free trial). Billing is handled entirely by Apple's App Store; your payment details never reach the app. To credit your purchase, the app sends Apple's receipt details (product id, transaction id, and a signed token) to our server for validation at POST /api/iap/validate. The server verifies Apple's signature, credits coins through the ledger (once per transaction id), and/or activates the Tashchetz Plus entitlement. Apple's privacy policy governs that transaction.
Account and data deletion
You can delete your account from inside the app at any time (in the account screen). This removes your profile, progress, coins, and results from the server. Puzzles you already published may remain available to the community without attribution to you. Data stored on the device is removed when you uninstall the app. For other data requests: tashchetz@benbasha.com.
What the app does NOT do
- There is no third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDK in the app (no Sentry, Firebase, Mixpanel, and so on).
- We do not receive your name or email from Apple, and we do not ask for them.
- We do not sell your personal data.
- The app's network destinations are: our game server, Google's ad SDK, the App Store's billing system, and links you choose to open.
Children
תשחץ is a word game with no content directed at children, rated 4+. When tracking is not allowed (ATT), ads are not personalized using the advertising identifier.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at tashchetz.benbasha.com/privacy with a new effective date.
